Empowering Rural Revival through Targeted Poverty Alleviation

We have made poverty relief and rural revitalization key priorities. With a cumulative donation of over 325 million RMB (ca. 45 million USD), our projects have covered 8 provinces and 24 cities (counties) nationwide, helping more than 300,000 people lift themselves out of poverty. We have also made significant contributions to the advancement of sustainable industries and the preservation of rural ecosystems.

The Success of Our Targeted Assistance

01 Preserving Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Thousand Yao Villages

We donated 10 million RMB (ca. 1,400,000 USD) to Youling Village, Qingyuan City in 2016, to renovate ancient Yao villages and construct 54 houses and tourism facilities. The socio-economic benefits have reached 1,200 households and 7,000 residents. This project not only preserves intangible cultural heritage but also maintains a balance between cultural heritage, humanistic, and natural environments. Moreover, it has revitalized the tourism industry within the scenic area and improved the livelihoods of villagers.

Upgrading Local Tourism Infrastructure

To ensure the utmost convenience and comfort, we financially supported the establishment of a leisure park, a visitor service center, restrooms, signage, firefighting systems, waste management areas, multiple parking lots, and a 1,700-meter stone staircase pathway.

Revitalizing Ancient Villages and Traditional Tile Houses

Embracing the policies set forth by the local government, we renovated ancient villages and constructed 54 houses in Youling Village, Qingyuan City.

02、Empowering Yao Industries for Rural Prosperity

In 2018, we made a significant investment of 10 million RMB (ca. 1.5 million USD) in the Sanshui Yao Ethnic Township, located in Lianzhou, Qingyuan. This contribution was strategically directed towards vital infrastructure projects, agricultural advancements, and the development of unique local industries, all designed to accelerate the community's rural revitalization. Our initiatives have created a ripple effect of positive change, benefiting over 2,300 individuals from 530 households.

Financial Support for Key Industries: Industrial Trading Center Project in Yunwu Village, Qingyuan

The newly established Industrial Trading Center is a comprehensive facility that combines exhibition and trading functions. Spanning over 1000 square meters, this state-of-the-art center serves as a thriving marketplace for local agricultural products, fostering industrial agglomeration and generating substantial benefits.

Renovation and Enhancement Project in Sanshui Yao Ethnic Township, Qingyuan

(1) Transformed 29 rooms with captivating Yao-inspired exteriors, Sanshui Yao Ethnic Township now boosts over 10 exceptional guesthouses that offer memorable stays and promote prosperity for villagers.
(2) We have completed a 13-km road beautification project with 280 solar-powered lights, creating a bright visual spectacle. Additionally, we have built small parks and public restrooms, improving local infrastructure.
(3) Along G537 road, we have built a community pavilion for Shaping Village residents. It's a multipurpose area for their breaks during agricultural activities or waiting for transport.

Building a Riverside Embankment for Shaping Village, Qingyuan

Chimelong has donated funds to the construction of a river embankment in the upstream section of Shaping Village. This significant project spans 600 meters in length and reaches a height of 2.3 meters.

03、Promoting "Cultural Tourism+ Agriculture" Integration to Pioneer Eco-Tourism

We financed the rural development of Daguao Village, Qingyuan City with 10 million RMB (ca. 1.4 million USD) in 2017. This project includes the building of eco-friendly tea plantations and tourism villages, benefiting 8 natural villages and over 1,600 people. In 2019, 1,929 impoverished households comprising 5,361 individuals in Liannan County overcame poverty and achieved a better life.

Revitalizing Villages for a Vibrant and Sustainable Future

With an investment of 2.2 million RMB (ca. 308,000 USD), we constructed a connecting footbridge for Yimin New Village, a cultural exhibition hall, guesthouses, parking facilities, and a cultural center at the village's central station.
Road and Pedestrian Bridge Construction

We have invested 5.1 million RMB to support the modern agricultural development in Daguao Village, Qingyuan. The project involves the construction of a 3.678-kilometer pathway for agricultural machinery and a 27.04-meter pedestrian bridge.
Facilitating Ecological Industry Development

With a 2 million RMB (ca. 0.3 million USD) investment, we have transformed and developed the Dagucao eco-friendly tea plantations. This initiative has crafted a unique, culturally rich rural landscape, sparking significant local economic growth.

04、Creating Vibrant and Livable Communities in Rural Areas.

By investing 10 million RMB (ca. 1,400,000 USD) in hazardous house renovations, rural road construction, restroom facilities, and public squares, we are dedicated to transforming rural infrastructure. This initiative is designed to boost agricultural productivity, raise farmers' incomes, significantly enhance rural living conditions, and accelerate the modernization of rural communities.

Rural Community Governance Project

We have donated 600,000 RMB (ca. 86,000 USD) to refurbish and upgrade rural community governance facilities and equipment. This investment is dedicated to enhancing the quality of governance services and promoting local development.

Public Restroom Renovation

We have donated over 5.11 million RMB to 58 natural villages across Guangdong Province, including Heyuan, Meizhou, Qingyuan, and Maoming. This project is a crucial step towards improving sanitation standards and life quality in rural communities.
