Over the years, we have been dedicated to supporting education through various initiatives such as school construction, talent cultivation, scholarship funds, educational facilities upgrades, and education quality enhancement. With a cumulative donation of 246 million RMB (ca. 35 million USD) , we have built “Hope Project primary schools” and implemented more than 10 poverty alleviation projects, benefiting over 10,000 impoverished students in Guangdong,Guangxi, Yunnan, Sichuan, and Xinjiang.
School Building Initiative
The Chimelong Group has invested over 100 million RMB (ca. 15 million USD) in building new schools, upgrading campus facilities, and enhancing educational quality. This substantial commitment is revitalizing rural education and driving the transformation and prosperity of rural communities.
Unlocking Education Potential with Unwavering Backing
The Experimental School of Panyu Middle School, funded with 350 million RMB (ca. 50 million USD) by Chimelong Group and Chimelong Foundation, opened in September 2022 and leads educational reform with innovative teaching methods and state-of-the-art facilities.
Empowering Education in Qingyuan
In 2017, we invested 84.75 million RMB (ca. 12 million USD) to establish Chimelong Hongzhi School in Yinzhan Forest Farm, Qingyuan. This initiative enhances local education, providing rural students with better learning opportunities and bridging the urban-rural education divide.
Dadunzi Kindergarten Construction Project
In 2020, we funded the construction of Dazhunzi Kindergarten in Yunnan Province, with a donation of 10 million RMB (ca. 1.4 million USD). This initiative addresses the educational needs of 83 relocated villages following their resettlement.
In 2020, we donated 10 million RMB (ca. 1.4 million USD) to the Panyu District Education Foundation to promote high-quality education. This funding enhances teaching quality, develops an exemplary curriculum, and improves campus environments.
In 2018, we donated 10 million RMB (ca. 1.4 million USD) to establish the Sun Yat-sen University and Chimelong Tourism Education Fund. This initiative has provided financial support to 584 economically disadvantaged students.
In 2013, we donated 3 million RMB (ca. 400,000 USD) to establish scholarships, teacher support funds, academic research grants, and infrastructure development funds to foster talent, nurture educators, and advance scientific research at Peking University.
In 2019, we donated 10 million RMB (ca. 1.4 million USD) to upgrade and renovate the Miande School in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. This initiative has enhanced the quality of education for over 10,000 local students.
In 2017, we donated 5.25 million RMB (ca. 720,000 USD) to support 1,504 rural students from Meizhou, Qingyuan, Shaoguan, Yunfu, and Jieyang in Guangdong Province, helping them fulfill their dreams of attending university.
In 2006, we donated 1.5 million RMB (ca. 230,000 USD) to support impoverished middle school students in Conghua City, Guangdong Province, enabling them to complete their junior and senior high school education.
We established the first Chimelong Industry
Academy at the Qingyuan campus of Guangdong Engineering Polytechnic. We've also
achieved strategic cooperation with South China Agricultural University, Hunan
Normal University, Guangdong Ocean University, and other leading institutions
to collaboratively develop industry talent.
We partner with South China Agricultural University, a leader in wildlife conservation, animal genetics, and disease prevention, to conduct industry-focused research. Together, we offer joint graduate training and cultivate high-level talent for the industry.
Chimelong Academy bridges education and industry, blending academic expertise with industrial needs. This initiative deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, providing strong talent support for regional economic development and pioneering the "Chimelong Model" of collaboration.
