Recognized as a Class II protected animal, this remarkable species holds a cherished place in our hearts and the delicate ecosystem it calls home. In 2021, our reintroduction project took flight, dedicated to the conservation and revival of the silver pheasant population. Building upon our successful efforts, we meticulously assessed the birds' wilderness survival abilities, ensuring their readiness for the great outdoors. Each silver pheasant received a unique identification microchip, allowing us to monitor their progress and ensure their well-being in real time. As we embarked on the launch of Guangdong Province's 40th Bird-Loving Week, we celebrated our conservation endeavors with a momentous event the release of nearly a hundred birds, including the silver pheasants and the Chinese hwamei, back into their natural habitat.
